Nearly 200 men and women are transported on a daily basis to our main facility on Slater Road in New Britain and our satellite location on Myrtle Street. People come from their family homes, group homes operated by CCARC and other private providers, and various residential settings to participate in our Day Services.
Day Support Options help individuals acquire, improve and/or retain skills and abilities that prepare them to take their place in the community, and to socialize and enjoy leisure activities. Participants benefit from life skills training, volunteer work, pre-vocational training, and recreations/cultural events.
Opportunities to explore and interact within the community may include: informational tours of local businesses and organizations, educational trips, dining at area restaurants, nature and health walks, horticultural activities, arts and crafts, physical fitness, music programs, multi-sensory stimulation activities, and myriad types of volunteer work.
Employment Services help match individuals with paid, community-based employment where they can learn valuable work skills. Find Out More
